By Annika Caniza - October 28, 2022

After an exciting first round of basketball, the UAAP announced that the highly anticipated Cheerdance Competition will be taking place on December 10 in the Mall of Asia Arena.

With the announcement of the competition’s date, the collegiate league also released the order of performances. This Season’s UAAP hosts, Adamson, will be opening the competition with their sequence.

Here’s the full sequence of the competition in December:

Last season, the FEU Cheering Squad was crowned the Cheerdance Competition champions. This marked the school’s third Cheerdance championship win and their first since 2009. The Adamson Pep Squad finished in second place and the NU Pep Squad finished in third.

As the competition is still over a month away, in the meantime, the second round of the UAAP basketball tournament starts this weekend. And after an action-packed first round, the upcoming games are expected to be even more so with the final four positions on the line.

For the men’s tournament, UP currently leads the standings with a win-loss record of 6-1. Meanwhile, for the women’s tournament, the NU Lady Bulldogs remain undefeated with a record of 7-0.

With round two of the tournaments starting this weekend, fans should expect some changes to the schedule. In the first round, only two games took place on Saturdays and Sundays, while on Wednesdays, all eight teams competed.

For round two, only the opening weekend will see two games each for Saturday and Sunday. Following this, every UAAP game day is set to have four games each.

Games will be held at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM, and 6:30 PM.
