All teams were drawn from four different pots, and all teams were placed in their respective pots depending on their world rankings.

Based on today’s draw, the Philippine Women’s National Football Team was the third team to be drawn into Group A for their World Cup debut. As a result, they will be competing against New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland in the group stage of the tournament.

Positioned third in their group, they are set to open their debut World Cup campaign against Switzerland. The Filipinas are ranked 53rd in the world while Switzerland is 21st.

As for the rest of the group, New Zealand is ranked 22nd and Norway is 12th in the world.
