Ashtanga, hot yoga, and more — these yoga studios have a lot of different classes for you to try.
Yoga has recently become one of the most popular workouts, and it’s easy to understand why. As a form of exercise that focuses on slower, more intentional movements, while also incorporating meditative breathing, yoga can have many benefits on both the body and mind.
Take yoga long enough, and you might reap the benefits yourself: flexibility and mobility, increased strength, improved sleep, lower anxiety, better balance — the list could go on.
Yoga classes (sometimes referred to as “flows”) also come in many different forms. There’s Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, Bikram, and one of the most popular right now, hot yoga.
With a lot of classes to try, plus a good number of benefits you could gain, here are some yoga studios in Metro Manila that you can try out!
VIDA Yoga

Looking for yoga studios that offer many different classes? Check out VIDA Yoga.
VIDA Yoga offers 16 different types of workout classes so you can try them all and discover which ones suit you best. Hot Vinyasa? Warm Hatha? Ashtanga? Whatever type of yoga you’re looking for, chances are, they have a class for it. And as a plus, they have studios all over the Metro: Alabang, BGC, and Rockwell.
But what also makes VIDA Yoga special is that, apart from the usual yoga classes you can find in most studios, they also offer what they call “healing” classes, where they use gentle movements and calming sounds to help you feel more centered and calm.
Soulspace Yoga

Soulspace Yoga describes itself as a “sanctuary woven with threads of genuine connection and a deep love for yoga.”
“Sanctuary” fits Soulspace quite perfectly. Situated in the busy, bustling BGC is their contrasting space that features natural hues, a clean aesthetic, and tall windows that allow natural light to pour into their studio.
Soulspace also offers multiple class types. Apart from the usual Ashtanga and Bikram, they also have unique workouts: Cali Yoga flow is a class that blends Vinyasa yoga with calisthenics principles, Hot Core Yoga combines yoga-inspired movements to invigorate the core, and Kids’ Yoga, Pop Pilates offers a mat pilates workout that follows the beat of music, to keep things fun and upbeat.
Bikram Yoga Manila

Bikram Yoga Manila is one of the most popular yoga studios in Metro Manila, as it was the first Bikram Yoga studio to open in the Philippines when it first opened in 2006.
Bikram Yoga refers to a very specific type of yoga that flows through 26 poses in a heated classroom. Many swear by the signature Bikram style of yoga because not only does it improve flexibility and mobility, but the heated room can also benefit cardiovascular health. Just be sure to always have a bottle of water with you.
Bikram Yoga Manila can be found in Quezon City and Makati, also making it one of the most accessible yoga studios in the Metro.
Open Mat

Open Mat is a workout studio in Makati dedicated to yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Though it may not seem like it at first glance, Jiu-Jitsu and yoga have common features: both prioritize bodily awareness, balance, and breathing control, making them a good match at Open Mat.
Similar to other yoga studios, Open Mat offers different kinds of yoga classes. From Vinyasa to Gentle Flow to Yogilates (a combo of yoga and pilates), you can take your pick on the kind of yoga you want to explore. And if you’re looking for something different, you can also try out one of their Jiu-Jitsu classes, which are open to beginners!
Nude Floor

If you’re looking for a fitness space that offers yoga as well as other types of workouts, give Nude Floor a try.
Although they are mainly a dance studio that offers dance classes in many different genres, Nude Floor also offers yoga classes in their spacious studio in Makati. Look for the “NF Fit Club” on their websites, and you’ll see regularly scheduled yoga practices with their instructors. And while you’re at it, you can also give one of their dance classes a try.
Apart from yoga, Nude Floor also offers Barre and Calisthenics classes to help give you some variety to your workout routine.
Movement in Play

Looking for playful movement? This studio has it in the name. Movement in Play is a fitness studio that offers yoga flows, on top of several other challenging fitness classes.
As a space that wants to promote fun and remove the “intimidating” factor of yoga, Movement in Play offers classes that specifically cater to beginners. From Ashtanga basics to Vinyasa basics, their instructors focus on teaching clients the fundamentals of a good yoga practice, making it great for first timers.
But apart from yoga, Movement in Play also offers other similar forms of workouts such as Aerial Yoga, Pole dance classes, Aerial Hoop, and hoop classes.
So, which of these yoga studios are you going to try first?
