You be the judge. Which team showed up to the UAAP’s biggest rivalry game with the better fits?
The roots of the iconic La Salle-Ateneo rivalry run deep. If you were at either of the DLSU vs. ADMU games this season, you surely know what we’re talking about — the athletes giving 110% and the crowds doing their own back-and-forth from the stands, exchanging cheers to prove which side is better. There is truly no competition spirit like it, and UAAP Season 86 gave us two rivalry games that fans will definitely remember.
Ateneo took the victory in the first round of eliminations, but La Salle got their revenge in their final game of the second round to secure a twice-to-beat advantage heading into the Final Four. Meanwhile, despite the defeat, the Blue Eagles still have a shot at advancing to the next step if they overcome Adamson in a playoff for the fourth seed.
Whether or not we will be getting another La Salle-Ateneo game again this season — a possibility only open for the finals — remains to be seen. But while we await the fate of both squads, we want to know what you think of their game-day looks.
