For Ted Lasso fans, Welcome to Wrexham is a must-watch. The docuseries follows the story of Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they take over ownership of the third-oldest professional football club in the world and strive to bring them to success.
As they come to learn, running a football club is far from simple.
2. Rise
Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, Rise should definitely be on your watchlist.
Rise is a Disney+ original film that showcases the journey of the Antetokounmpos — the first trio of brothers to become NBA champions — after emigrating from Nigeria to Greece.
3. Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers
Disney+ has a lot in store for NBA fans. One of the best they have to offer is Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers.
The 10-episode docuseries goes in-depth into the story of the LA Lakers and their remarkable rise and unprecedented success from the time when real estate mogul Dr. Jerry Buss buys the Lakers and drafts rookie sensation Magic Johnson.
4. MotoGP Unlimited
If you liked Drive to Survive (who didn’t?), then you need to give MotoGP Unlimited a go.

Even if you don’t watch the NFL, you know the name Tom Brady.

Everyone knows about the time Michael Jordan retired from a successful basketball career to pursue baseball. In fact, it is still a running joke.

One of ESPN’s most popular documentaries, The Fab Five, is available to stream on Disney+.
The Fab Five is a documentary about one of the most famous teams in college basketball history, the 1990s Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball players known collectively as the Fab Five, a team that included Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson.
8. White Men Can’t Jump
If you’re done going on a sports documentary or biopic binge, and you’re looking for something to make you laugh, hit play on White Men Can’t Jump.
One of the most iconic basketball movies tells the story of an unlikely duo who team up to rule the betting circuit on the Venice basketball courts. A remake of the movie is coming out soon, so don’t neglect to watch the original!
9. The Art of Racing in the Rain
For the racing lovers and dog lovers out there, add The Art of Racing in the Rain to your watchlist.
This heartwarming film tells the story of a dog and his family, and the life lessons they all learn through his owner’s racing career. And, the entire story is narrated by the dog himself.
