These rookies dressed up real good in their custom suits for the 2025 NBA Draft.
More than seeing talents fulfill their professional league dreams, the NBA Draft has doubled as a high-fashion affair in recent years, with rookies showing up in their finest looks to celebrate a turning point in their basketball careers.
Some rookies may show up in classic looks, while others may be more experimental to showcase their roots and personal style on such a monumental occasion.
With that, let’s take a look at some of the top looks from this year’s NBA Draft held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Jeremiah Fears

Jeremiah Fears made sure to honor the Oklahoma Sooners during the NBA Draft, rocking a custom Gucci suit in Oklahoma’s signature crimson school color. Along with the silver chains bearing his surname and jersey number, Fears’ Draft look is a great example of storytelling done right through fashion.
Dominique Clifford

Now with the Sacramento Kings, it was only right that Dominique “Nique” Clifford wore this purple gradient suit by ALBA, which was accompanied by a matching pair of Nike Air Force 1s.
Clifford paid tribute to his roots through his suit’s inner lining, which references his stints with The Vanguard School in the juniors’ ranks, and in the NCAA with Colorado State and the University of Colorado Boulder.
Oh, and there is also Clifford the Big Red Dog in the inner lining, which should already be self-explanatory.
Joan Beringer

France’s Joan Beringer kept it simple for his NBA Draft look, wearing a double-breasted salmon pink look as he was picked at 17th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves. A simple, but nonetheless elegant look for the 18-year-old Frenchman.
Ace Bailey

You can never go wrong with a black and red combination, as seen here with Utah Jazz rookie Ace Bailey. Adding to the suit’s overall appeal are embellished black jewels and matching dress shoes, along with a custom “AB” chain.
Carter Bryant

Fourteenth overall pick Carter Bryant showed up with his own modern-day look, showing up in a classy double-breasted fuchsia suit with no lapels and a matching dress shirt underneath.
Dylan Harper

It’s all in the details for Filipino-American hooper Dylan Harper, who wore Versace’s signature Barocco jacquard suit as he was selected second overall by the San Antonio Spurs.
Tre Johnson

Suits paired with shorts may still be polarizing, but we’d like to show some love to sixth-overall pick Tre Johnson, who looked every bit confident in his navy blue suit with shorts for the NBA Draft.
Sometimes, all we need is confidence in order to impress with our outfits.
Colin Murray-Boyles

Colin Murray-Boyles mixes past with present, rocking an all-pinstripe suit with a more modern fit as he begins his NBA career with the Toronto Raptors.
Asa Newell

Similar to Joan Beringer, simplicity was key for Atlanta Hawks rookie Asa Newell and his light purple suit that’s accentuated by matching white buttons and silver jewelry pieces.
Cooper Flagg

Last but not least is first-overall pick Cooper Flagg, who entered the NBA Draft as the newest brand ambassador for BOSS by Hugo Boss.
To commemorate the partnership, Flagg was outfitted in this navy blue three-piece suit, which goes to show that classic formalwear will never go out of style in a bolder and more expressive era of fashion.
