Here’s Why (and Where) You Should Cop PUMA’s 2025 Philippine Men’s National Football Team Kits

By Annika Caniza - December 20, 2024

For PUMA, it’s all about elevating performance and style in Philippine sports.

Harkening to the elements that remind us of home, PUMA’s new football kits are a true tribute to Philippine football. Revealed in Bootcamp BGC on December 3, the new Philippine Men’s National Football Team’s 2025 Home and Away kits immediately caught the attention of both fans and players — and it has become all the more exciting that these are going to be the uniform for the squad next year.

For veteran footballers and fans, the new Home kit should bring a sense of nostalgia. That’s because its design was inspired by the national team’s jerseys in the 1998 Tiger Cup. It’s a simple, ageless look that can be appreciated by sports fans, no matter the era.

But more than calling back to an OG look, PUMA’s new Home kit for the PMNFT is also inspired by the Filipino identity, using imagery of the Philippine sunrise. The two tones of blue on the jersey represent the sea and sky coming together at the horizon. Naturally, the red tone represents the rising sun, framed by bands of white clouds. It’s an image that evokes the feelings of strength and hope that come with seeing a new day — fitting for a team also ushering in a new era.

Meanwhile, the Away kit is a clean and simple white, with a light yet flowing blue pattern. This design calls forth the Philippines’ seasonal elements, the rains and winds that ebb and flow every year. Although subtle, this represents the tenacity of the Filipino, our resilience and drive to rise above all challenges.

Indeed, these two kits are a perfect representation of the Philippines, perfect for the PMNFT. But beyond the inspiration behind its aesthetic design, PUMA has stamped their expert craft in these jerseys, using only the most advanced elements to provide form and function for our national team players.

Look Good, Feel Good

While its sleek and stylish designs already place them above others, PUMA’s new football kits are also designed to be functional as well as fashionable.

These jerseys are made with PUMA’s revolutionary dryCELL technology which wicks moisture from your body, keeping you free from sweat during exercise. On top of this, they also make use of CLOUDSPUN fabric, PUMA’s very own custom-milled performance poly/spandex blend. It’s a fabric that can meet the highest performance standards while still affording the comfortable feeling of cotton.

These features definitely make these new jerseys, with their innovative designs, the perfect fit for the Philippine Men’s National Football Team, who put in hard work and dedication to represent the flag. But beyond the men on the field, PUMA’s new kits are also perfect for passionate football fans in the stands. Designed with pride and inspiration, the new Home and Away kits are comfortable enough for everyday use for fans—whether they’re watching the team live, playing a fun game with friends, or going out around the Metro.

And if that’s not enough, these kits are made using PUMA’s RE:FIBRE program. It’s part of PUMA’s efforts to bring forth circularity by transforming textile waste into new materials. Each kit is made with at least 95% recycled materials, pushing sustainability that one step further.

All-in-all, PUMA’s new football kits are functional, fashionable, and all-Filipino. They were made for players and fans alike, whether you’re out there playing or with friends cheering.

The PMNFT 2025 Home and Away kits are available in-store in the following PUMA stores: PUMA Ayala Cebu, PUMA Capitol Central Bacolod, PUMA Eastwood, PUMA Gateway Mall, PUMA Glorietta, PUMA Shangri-La Plaza, PUMA SM North EDSA, PUMA Venice Grand Canal, and Bootcamp, BGC.
