Taylor Swift’s Chiefs games outfits get almost as much attention as her Eras Tour outfits.
In the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Cleveland Browns in December last year, a fan held up a colorful handmade sign that caught the attention of the photographers in the stadium. The sign read, “HERE FOR TAYLOR SWIFT.”
This pretty much encapsulates the influence that legendary pop star Taylor Swift has brought to the NFL.
Ever since she started attending games to support her boyfriend, the Chiefs’ star tight end Travis Kelce, she has become the star of the show, much to the delight of her religious community of ‘Swifties.’ Now, every time the Chiefs play a game, the news of a win or a loss comes hand-in-hand with the news of Swift’s attendance — or her outfits, for that matter.
Now, with just over a week until Kansas City heads back to the Super Bowl to vie for an elusive three-peat, let’s rank all of Taylor Swift’s looks from the 2024-25 season.
9. Stunning in red
Taylor Swift kept it simple for the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders — but the devil is in the details. Her Louis Vuitton half-zip sweater definitely takes the spotlight in her casual outfit, but upon closer inspection, you might notice her shiny necklace with its big 87-pendant on it to represent Kelce’s jersey number.
8. Fall energy
In early October, the ‘You Belong With Me’ singer attended the Chiefs’ game against New Orleans wearing a plaid off-shoulder mini dress designed by Vivienne Westwood, paired with chunky leather boots — very in-theme with the autumn weather.
7. Louis V
Gold was the prominent accent color in Taylor Swift’s outfit when she watched Travis Kelce in the Chiefs vs. Bills AFC Championship game. It was all Louis Vuitton for the pop star — the monogram jacquard knit jacket, the beanie, the chain purse, and the boots — and the outfit went viral on social media after she came down to the field to celebrate the Chiefs booking their ticket back to the Super Bowl.
6. Denim on denim
Despite being the busy woman that she is, traveling the world for her blockbuster Eras Tour, Swift still found the time to watch Kansas City’s opening game of the season. Once again, she stole the cameras’ attention when she showed up in a denim look, paired with glossy red thigh-high boots designed by Giuseppe Zanotti.
5. Winter is here
As the temperatures started to drop, Taylor Swift started to raise her style game. To watch the Chiefs against the Texans last December, she showed up in a fluffy red coat designed by Charlotte Simone, paired with a velvety black bucket hat, and a red Tod’s purse. Quite a way to welcome the holiday season.
4. Bejeweled
It may not be all too obvious, but Taylor Swift came to the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game against the Houston Texans last January 19 in a head-to-toe Chanel Resort outfit, highlighted by her coat worth $9,600 and an eye-catching pearl belt worth $2,250.
3. Going vintage
To watch the Chiefs win a home game against the Buccaneers, Taylor walked into Arrowhead Stadium wearing an all-black look that featured black Christian Louboutin boots, a stunning gold necklace from Chanel, and a Dior purse. But the star of the outfit? Her vintage Chiefs jacket — which a Taylor Swift fan later revealed was actually her old jacket which she sold on eBay.
2. In her fangirl era
An outfit perfect for a WAG, one of Taylor Swift’s best looks all season was this vintage Kansas City Chiefs shirt that she converted into a minidress and paired with thigh-high leather boots and a Louis Vuitton purse — a simple way to elevate sportswear.
1. The girlboss we all know
Taylor Swift stunned in this plaid outfit. Walking into the stadium to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs defeat the Denver Broncos, she strutted the tunnel wearing a Versace blazer and miniskirt set (worth around $5,000), which she paired perfectly with a black Victoria’s Secret corset and black leather boots. This look shows Swift in her truest form — a girlboss who has dominated her industry (not to mention how the look merges the vibes of two of her hit albums, Red and Reputation).
However, we do have one more outfit we’re waiting for: her Super Bowl LIX look, which we expect her to rock on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans when she cheers on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, as they vie for another championship crown with her in the stands.
Could that outfit top our list? Come back to this story after the Super Bowl to find out.
