Over the last two years, James Harden had been dealing with a hamstring injury that he sustained two NBA seasons ago while playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
Now, it seems that he spent his time in recovery exploring other ventures as well. Just yesterday, James Harden announced on an Instagram post the launch of his newest venture: wines.
In collaboration with Accolade Wines, Harden’s new brand J-Harden will be launching this August 26. And according to the NBA player’s Instagram post, it also appears that he teamed up with J-Shed Wine to create his signature wine.
In Accolade Wines’ Instagram announcement of the collaboration, they describe the J-Harden x J-Shed wine to be a “disruptive force, breaking down barriers with ultra-bold design, energetic style, and delicious wines.”
Accolade Wines owns over 50 wine brands all over the world, now adding NBA star James Harden’s to their collection.
In an exclusive with Yahoo Sports, Harden shared, “I wanted to create a wine that was affordable, but also had some swag to it.”
Based on what we see so far, it certainly seems like there is a lot of swag going on with the design of the bottle. Soon, we hope to see if the taste lives up to the hype.
