Garmin Philippines is thrilled to announce the inaugural Philippines leg of the Garmin Run Asia Series, set to take place this November 2024. Embracing the theme ‘From Zero to Hero,’ the event aims to challenge participants with an exhilarating run that pushes them beyond their comfort zones while also promoting a more active lifestyle.

The Garmin Run in Manila will be held at Filinvest City, Alabang on November 17, 2024. The race will include categories of 5km, 10km, and 21km, with exciting prizes awaiting the winners.

Across Asia, the Garmin Run has seen over 10,000 runners striving to beat personal bests and challenge themselves. Participants enjoy breaking records, winning prizes, exclusive promotions on Garmin wearables, and the vibrant atmosphere of event sponsor booths.

“The Garmin Run Asia Series is an exciting cross-continental series of running events spanning multiple cities in Asia, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring it to Manila for the first time ever. This landmark event aims to cultivate a culture of running among Filipinos, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster a sense of community,” shared Ryan Tan, Founder and CEO of NAVCO Group.

The Garmin Run Asia Series, however, is more than just a one-time event for runners. On top of this, the brand also has its own running community called the Garmin Run Club.

The Garmin Run Club is a community of runners based here in the Philippines who get together every week to help each other reach their goals. This is one way they are engaging more runners and promoting an active lifestyle among Filipinos, as this could also be a platform that helps beginners reach their goal of hitting a personal best at the fun run in November.

Registration fees for the Garmin Run in Manila will be available from June 12 to November 15. Early bird rates start at Php 1,400 per runner for the 5K race, Php 1,600 for the 10K race, and Php 2,200 for the 21K race. Interested participants can register on the official website.

Participants who complete their category within a specified time will receive an electronic certificate of achievement, a completion medal, and a special gift. Additionally, those who finish the competition will have the chance to win exclusive merchandise.
