Next Generation Style: 10 Winning Suits From The 2024 NBA Draft

To kickstart their professional hoops journey, this year’s rookie class pulled up to the NBA Draft in stunning custom suits.

Over the years, the NBA Draft has been home to a number of memorable looks. As the young hopefuls enter the next chapter of their careers, like any good old job interview, they show up in their best suits to showcase their style, or simply celebrate their roots through fashion storytelling.

With another NBA draft upon us, let’s take a look at some of the suits that stood out from this year’s rookie draft class. Spot any killer looks?

Fourth-overall pick Stephon Castle joins Wemby and the Spurs in this killer black and silver suit with an accompanying castle chain that bears his initials. Respectfully, we may have just gotten an all-time NBA Draft suit from the Spurs’ newest addition.

Former Providence guard Devin Carter was oozing with confidence in this powder blue suit that he boldly accompanied with no undershirt. This is just another fashion-forward take on a classic style for the newest Sacramento King.

Safe to say that Ja’Kobe Walter was just meant to be a Toronto Raptor, as he opted for a purple suit with subtle floral patterns for his next chapter. Who knows, this may just inspire the team to reintroduce the color purple in their current identity, right?

Featuring a mix of textures, Detroit’s Ron Holland II certainly established his suit as one of the best in this draft class. Through the rookie, we may have just discovered that gems and a crocodile skin-like pattern may just find ways to work together.

Alexandre Sarr

Another French lottery pick, Alexandre Sarr opted for a simple light brown double-breasted suit as he got called up by the Washington Wizards. You can never really miss going for a more timeless approach, something that the Frenchman is likely well aware of.

Jared McCain

For the newest Sixer Jared McCain, it was about being chic in this all-black Dolce and Gabanna suit headlined by a cropped jacket, and elevated by a number of gold accessories. We also have to give props to the former Blue Devil’s black nail polish as he fully expressed himself with his look!

Rob Dillingham

Glittered patterns take center stage on Rob Dillingham’s custom NBA Draft suit. Even more impressive than the look, is Dillingham’s personal involvement in turning this piece into a reality.

Tristan da Silva

The devil is in the details for Tristan da Silva’s red and black NBA draft suit. In a fine example of fashion storytelling, da Silva’s suit features an inner lining that celebrates his Brazilian-Bavarian roots, as well as his alma mater, the University of Colorado-Denver.

Baylor’s Yves Missi also goes for an understated chic look in the NBA Draft, wearing a dark blue suit complemented by a brown belt, and a light gold necklace. There’s also the inner lining of his suit, which features a map of his native Cameroon, and a lion that both come with gold accents that elevate his overall look.

Tidjane Salaun

Last but not least is Tidjane Salaun. Similar to his fellow Frenchman Alexandre Sarr, the Hornets’ sixth-overall pick goes for a classic route as he rocked a double-breasted dark blue suit with good old pinstripes.

Although unlike Sarr, Salaun opted to go one hundred percent classic, instead of adding a gold chain in place of the necktie.
