Joining the NBA Summer League this year, Kai Sotto takes a step in the right direction as he chases the NBA dream.
Every basketball player around the world dreams of cracking into the NBA, which makes the odds of doing so very slim. But, Filipino basketball player Kai Sotto is still chasing that dream and has recently taken himself one step closer.
Following the NBA Draft earlier today, the good news broke: Kai Sotto was invited to join the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League taking place in Las Vegas from July 7 to 17.
The news was broken by STAR sports columnist Quinito Henson who spoke to Sotto personally. He also shared that several other teams expressed interest in the Filipino baller, but ultimately, it was Orlando who had offered the best proposition.
Last year, Sotto also got the chance to train with the Orlando Magic ahead of the 2022 NBA Draft.
After going undrafted last year, the NBA Summer League is a huge opportunity for Kai to showcase his skills, and the 7-foot-two rising star will definitely take this chance to prove his worth in front of major teams, scouts, and NBA executives.
