On the day of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, passionate NBA fans visited TGI Friday’s in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City, for PLDT Home’s exclusive NBA Finals Watch Party.
Hosted by NBA Hype anchor Tin Gamboa, the PLDT Home Watch Party gathered around the biggest basketball fans in the Metro.
Gilas Pilipinas representatives could not pass up an opportunity to watch history unfold, as Roger Pogoy, Kib Montalbo, Chris Newsome, Aaron Black, Brandon Ganuellas-Rosser, and Kevin Alas enjoyed the action altogether.
Sports influencers and personalities Charles Tiu, Martin Javier, Vince Velasco, Bea Escudero, Paolo del Rosario, and Cam Lagmay also joined the festivities and added to the energy of the room, cheering (and booing) for their respective teams!
PLDT Home’s guests also got to enjoy other basketball-themed activities, including a basketball arcade game where participants in hoop-inspired attires had the opportunity to win exclusive NBA Store merchandise.

The Denver Nuggets’ championship was truly one for the books. Ever since the appointment of Michael Malone as the team’s head coach and the selection of Nikola Jokic in 2015, the Nuggets have become a team on the rise, overcoming odds and reaching milestone after milestone.
After two years of falling short in the playoffs, not only did they come into the last season with a beefed-up squad, but they also got to see their homegrown players, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray thrive on the biggest stage of basketball, besting out all the rest.
