Smart is offering free access to their subscribers to every FIBA Basketball World Cup game on the Smart LiveStream App from August 25 to September 11!
For Smart subscribers, all you have to do is download the application on the App Store or the Google Play Store, connect to a Smart mobile data, TNT, or PLDT WiFi while using the app, and you’ll gain access to all 92 games of the tournament.
But the FIBA excitement doesn’t stop there.
Smart is also giving select subscribers the chance to avail of their limited-edition feature package within the LiveStream App. This includes many features that will amplify your viewing experience, such as a 360-camera viewing option, live chats and polls, and watch parties with friends!
While these offers are open to all Smart subscribers, they have a package specifically designed for the World Cup: Gilas Power 399. This comes with 48 GB for all sites and apps, and up to 30 GB access to FIBA World Cup games on the LiveStream app.

Gearing up for the action
The 2023 FIBA World Cup is going to be a special one for many reasons, but most especially for Filipino fans, as the Philippines is one of the co-hosts of the global competition. With this, many of basketball’s biggest names will be gracing the country’s home courts, fighting for international recognition.
“With Smart, we are empowering our basketball-loving nation to make the most of our country’s historic hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup,” PLDT and Smart President Alfred S. Panlilio shared.
Given the Philippines’ historic hosting, Smart could not pass up the opportunity to get as many Filipinos onboard to support Gilas Pilipinas in the competition. With this, they have given their subscribers the easiest and most convenient way to tune into games and rally behind the Gilas men.
Apart from supporting the Filipinos in action, you’ll also gain access to all the other star players who will be competing in the renowned World Cup.
So even if you can’t be there in person, you can surely be there in spirit to support this iconic event.
