Spunk and synergy can bring this new AP.Bren squad to the next level.
It may be the same organization but a brand new team but AP.Bren coach Pakbet knows they have what it takes to challenge the big shots of the MPL.
With the loss of their M5 world champions roster, AP.Bren decided to bring up last season’s developmental league champions Lazy Esports wholesale into the pro stage. For coach Jomie “Pakbet” Abalos, he believes that’s the kind of edge that’ll make them dangerous in MPL PH S15.
“Yung strength talaga nung team ay yung chemistry nila,” says AP.Bren coach Pakbet. “Siguro isa rin yung dahilan kasi sobrang tagal din sila magkakasama.”

Indeed, the team has gone through quite a lot before making it into the professional league. A number of the players used to be part of ONIC Arsenals in 2023 before moving on to Lazy Esports. With their team remaining relatively intact over the years, the squad was able to take over the MDL and punch way above their weight.
“Hindi sila nauubusan ng magawa sa game,” said coach Pakbet. “Hindi sila sumusuko.”
In fact, many MPL players and teams have admitted that they’re excited to play against this new AP.Bren team. When asked why he thinks that’s the case, AP.Bren coach Pakbet had a pleased grin on his face.
“Yung kinakalaban naming teams galing MPL tinatalo din namin nung MDL pa kami. Siguro gusto nila makalaban kami kasi gusto nila ma-test sa stage ano yung kaya namin ibigay.”
As for who AP.Bren has in their sights, they only had one answer. “Si ONIC, of course. Dahil world champions sila tapos siguro dahil may bond sila sa team. Especially kasi lagi nila kalaban sila sa scrims. Balita ko na tinatalo din nila [yung main team] nung nandun pa sila. Kaya sabi ko ‘yun yung bakit malakas yung ONIC ngayon,’ so looking forward talaga nila makalaban sila.”
