Aurora’s better than before and there’s no denying that fact.
Things have been going really well for Aurora’s Domengkite and crew as they recently matched their eight-match win streak last season. Whatever doubts people had about the team has been dispelled at this point but there was some worry in Gold Laner Jan “Domengkite” Delmundo’s heart when they faced ONIC PH again in the second round.
“Na thi-think ko nga na baka matatalo kami ni ONIC kasi sila rin yung sumira ng win streak namin noon,” said Aurora’s Domengkite with a smile. His worries were not unfounded but Aurora really is moving much better this season. Domengkite attributes this fact to them simply learning their lesson from last season.
That’s still rather impressive considering that they’re not the same squad that achieved the win streak last season. The team has really come together after Dylan “Light” Catipon replaced Renejay Barcase as their Roamer.

“Nakakasabay [si Light], maganda yung chemistry and bonding namin sa scrims, lalo nung dumating yung coaches,” said Aurora’s Domengkite.
Now the question is if they’ll be able to keep this up into the playoffs. As impressive as their win streak was, last season was ultimately a disappointment for them as they finished in fourth place and missed MSC 2025.
“Mas-better na kami this season,” said Aurora’s Domengkite quite definitively.
