A fantastic finale for the tournament’s 10th anniversary.
The Maison de la Mutualité just crowned itself a new champion as Adel “Big Bird” Anouche soars high and takes Red Bull Kumite 2025. Big Bird secured his trophy against the UK’s EndingWalker 5-3 in some of the best Street Fighter 6 seen to date.
Starting in Paris, France, 10 years ago, Red Bull Kumite has grown to be one of the most prestigious fighting game tournaments in the world. Their formula of inviting top players and having them play long yet high-stakes matches has proven to be a winner. They’ve been a source of fighting game excellence for the past decade, and they’re celebrating that with their 10th anniversary.

Red Bull Kunite 2025 featured both known legends and upcoming underdogs fighting for greatness. Champions such as Saul “MenaRD” Mena II, Daigo Umehara, and even Big Bird himself clashed with the new age of the Fighting Game Community, such as Noah “NoahTheProdigy” Solis and EndingWalker.
With a best-of-nine, single-elimination bracket, every match was ensured to be a nail-biter. Big Bird’s path had him burning through two hometown heroes in Malvine “Kusanagi” Touitou and Kilyan “Kilzyou” Faucheux. Meanwhile, EndingWalker had to take down his mentor, Benjamin “Problem X” Simon, and Capcom Cup 11’s million-dollar champion, Kakeru.

Both players proved their worth to get to the Red Bull Kumite 2025 grand finals but in the end, it was Big Bird’s experience that would win the day. He remained calm, composed, and precise even when he was behind.
With this victory, Big Bird wins his second Red Bull Kumite after his previous win in 2023. He’s the second player to win two Kumite’s next to Atsushi Fujimura, who won two in a row from 2018 to 2019.
