It’s 2025 and MPL PH S15 is greeting the new competitive year with major changes and new rivalries that will spice up the competition.
Season 15 starts on 28 February 2025 and is taking place at the Green Sun Hotel, Makati. The league is also welcoming new esports giants Twisted Minds and Team Falcons, new and returning pro players, and new brand partners.
MPL PH S15 opens with Twisted Minds and Aurora Gaming meeting for the first time in a best-of-three series. It will be followed by the match between world champions ONIC Philippines and TNC Pro Team. New Era, New Contenders, Fiercer Competitions
MPL PH S15 brings new teams and major roster changes to elevate the competition in the home of the champions.
Former AP.Bren players now join Saudi Arabia-based Team Falcons, making a league debut this season. TNC Pro Team undergoes a massive overhaul of its roster and welcomes M4 world champion Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera back home after playing as an import for the Indonesian team formerly known as Aura Esports.

ONIC Philippines is sticking with its world champion roster, adding Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales as its sixth man. Smart Omega will continue to be led by veteran Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog.
“Ngayong season, mas double effort ako, dahil kinapos kami last season. Lahat kami ibibigay namin best namin para mabigyan lahat ng fans ng magandang laban,” said Ch4knu.
MPL PH S14 runner-up Aurora retains its main five, while Team Liquid Philippines introduces “The Filipino Sniper,” Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, to their lineup. Twisted Minds’ quintet will be led by “KDA Machine” Salic “Hadji” Imam.
Bigger and Bolder Brand Collaborations for the Community
Fans and spectators both online and off can expect bigger things thanks to official partners Smart Communications, Inc and Infinix. MPL PH S15 also welcomes international family entertainment center Timezone and gaming chair brand TTRacing as partners in esports.
Infinix will launch the second season of its MPL PH Infinix FANSiklaban which gathers fans to represent their MPL PH community in a weekly MLBB match where prizes await. This time, Infinix is also giving away freebies and promo codes which can be used when fans purchase Infinix products such as phones and accessories.

Smart continues its MPL PH Battle Trips Program, inviting students from universities to workshops about esports broadcasting, production, logistics, league operations, and journalism. Smart will also launch a Discord Community Hub for prepaid users to host special events and giveaway exclusive perks.
The newest partner in esports, Timezone, brings the nostalgic family entertainment experience in the MPL PH Playground. They will have their iconic carnival games mounted in the venue for fans to enjoy. They can even take home merchandise items and vouchers that they can use at any Timezone branch nationwide.
An Open Ecosystem for Women and Community Heroes
Finally, together with the MPL PH S15, Athena League will be hosting a newly-formed professional MLBB league for women. This tournament will serve as a qualifying tournament for the upcoming MLBB Women’s Invitational featured in the Esports World Cup.
There’s also big news for the MLBB Student Leaders Collegiate Cup (MCC). The official collegiate league of MLBB in the Philippines will now have a direct slot for its champion to compete in the MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines, raising the stakes and opening more opportunities for aspiring amateur players.
