Fnatic Sweep The Field And Become The Masters Tokyo Champions

This also marks the first time we have a back-to-back champion for an international Valorant tournament.

Fnatic has proven that they are the best team in the world after beating Evil Geniuses and becoming the Masters Tokyo Champions.

Finals weekend kicked off in the lower brackets where Evil Geniuses and Paper Rex duked it out to see who moves on to face Fnatic. It was a grueling five-game series but in the end, Evil Geniuses came out on top, sending the SEA representatives to third place.

All that heart wasn’t enough to beat Fnatic, however, as the EMEA powerhouse would beat the Americas’ third seed in a 3-0 sweep. This is a capstone to Fntic’s dominating tournament run, dropping only one game to Evil Geniuses in the upper bracket finals.

This also marks Fnatic as the first team to win two international tournaments in a row. With LOCK//IN São Paulo and Masters Tokyo under their belt, the team is now setting their sights on Valorant Champions taking place later this August.
