It’s going to be five days of non-stop Street Fighter action.
Things are heating up in Tokyo, Japan, as a new Street Fighter 6 champion is about to be crowned at Capcom Cup 11.
Starting March 5, 48 of the best Street Fighter players in the world will converge at the Ryogoku Kokugikan arena. There, they’ll battle it out to determine who will raise the Capcom Cup and become the next Street Fighter millionaire.
The group stage will consist of three days of fierce action as the 48 players will be divided into six groups. Then, they’ll face each other in a single round-robin, first-to-two format where only the top two move on.
Finals weekend will return to a traditional double-elimination bracket, where seeding is determined by each player’s standings in the group stage. Those who finish at the top of their group will start in the upper bracket quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the runner-ups will already be in danger as they begin in the lower bracket.

Every match in the finals, even the grand finals, will be a first-to-three which means there’s no room for mistakes among the competitors. The stakes are high as not only will the Capcom Cup 11 champion take home the million USD grand prize, but they also get a guaranteed spot in next year’s Capcom Cup 12.
From the Best Player to the Best Region
The Street Fighter action doesn’t end with the conclusion of Capcom Cup 11 as the Street Fighter League World Championship 2024 happens the day after. This time, it will be the best teams across the Americas, Europe, and Japan facing each other on the world stage.
Each team is composed of four players and the three teams will face each other using SFL’s unique match system. Two teams will send three of their players to play against each other, earning points based on their match record. Whoever earns the most points or is the first to reach a set number of points is the winner.
This year’s world championship will be more intense as the teams are playing for more than just pride this time. Aside from winning the lion’s share of the $150,000, each member of the winning team will get a free pass into Capcom Cup 12.
