It’s going to be a year full of exciting Mobile Legends action on all levels.
Mobile Legends esports are going to have their most packed year yet as they recently revealed their roadmap for 2024. Check it out here:
First off in the video is the rebranding of the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup or MSC. It’s now known as the Mid-Season Cup, which is more in line with Moonton Games’ Esports for Everyone vision. This is to help promote diversity and inclusivity in esports and for more global athletes to have the opportunity to compete in one of the most-watched esports tournaments worldwide.
This will also be MSC’s first time to be held outside of Southeast Asia. More details are coming soon but with the increased prize pool and inclusion of more regions such as China, MSC is shaping up to be a tournament that you won’t want to miss.
A year of non-stop action
Fans can also expect more third-party tournaments and events to pop up this year. Throughout 2024, there will be over 2000+ Mobile Legends matches covering 55 countries and regions. They’ll be hosted by their respective MLBB Esports teams, professional, semi-professional, and community tournament organizers. This will include the Snapdragon Pro Series organized by EFG, MSC 2024, the MLBB Women’s Invitational, the M6 World Championship, IESF, and more.
To give you a full appreciation of the scale, here are the regions participating this year. Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Middle East and North Africa, East Europe and Central Asia, Türkiye, Mongolia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Thailand. Vietnam and Brunei), North America, Latin America, and most excitingly – China.
Capping things off, the M6 World Championship returns to where its first iteration was held – Malaysia. This tournament keeps the Wild Card format alongside the tried and tested Group and Knockout stages. The finale of Mobile Legends esports in 2024 will span from November to December, promising to end the year right.
