Day two of the ESL Berlin Major playoffs was a sad day for North America as Shopify Rebellion goes 0-2 against South America’s Evil Geniuses.
Shopify Rebellion peters out of the ESL Berlin Major playoffs with a 0-4 record after two tough losses. Their first loss was handed by East Europe’s 9 Pandas. Among those also exiting the Berlin Major are China’s Xtreme Gaming and East Europe’s Team Spirit.
The Playoffs continue today as Talon Esports, the last hope of Southeast Asia, goes against China’s PSG.LGD. The two will battle it out in the lower bracket to see which team deserves to move on in the tournament.
Games will continue to alternate between the upper and lower bracket teams until the finalist from both meets for the Grand Finals on May 7.
