Will Omega rise in the ranks now that the team’s finally complete?
After spending half the season on the sidelines, Omega’s coach Wuraaah can finally make his presence known on the MPL PH stage.
Coach Hans “Wuraaah” Solano previously worked with Geek Fam and Bigetron Alpha in MPL Indonesia before returning to the Philippines. Unfortunately, he had to wait some time to be fully cleared to go on the MPL PH stage, but that doesn’t mean he was just sitting idly in the stands.
“Syempre, kahit hindi kami nakakaakyat sa stage, gusto natin ma-set na yung tono,” said Omega’s coach Wuraaah. “Paano magiging practice at pagaaral so meron pa rin tayong inaambag.”
The coach has technically been part of the team since the start of the season, so he’s familiar with all their triumphs and struggles so far. Despite their lower spot in the standings, Omega is able to match up to the best teams in the league. They’ve just been missing that final step to closing out games against tougher opponents.
“Nagkukulang lang siguro ng konting disiplina,” said Omega’s coach Wuraaah. “Malakas talaga si Smart Omega sa late game pero minsan hindi yun natutuloy. Yun yung wino-work out namin until now. Andun na kami sa point na feel ko na pag na-overcome namin yung challenge na yun, mas-magiging malakas yung team.”
Now that he can finally be on stage with his team, coach Wuraaah believes he can better direct Omega and ensure that they remain focused. And though it’s half a season late, he finally gets the chance to directly face off against the MPL PH teams.
“Gusto ko bawian yung mga tumalo sa amin na top three,” said Omega’s coach Wuraaah. “Tingnan natin kung saan kami aabot kasi yun yung standard ng Pilipinas ngayon. Gusto ko makita saan na kami going into playoffs so alam ko ano pa kailangan namin.”
