It was a full celebration of Philippine esports and gaming at the World Trade Center.
ESGS 2023 concludes another bombastic year filled with excitement and hype. Held last weekend in the World Trade Center Metro Manila, the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit is an annual three-day gaming and tech convention and one of the biggest in Southeast Asia.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the event and they were sure to pull out all the stops. Booths from the biggest faces of gaming were all around for fans to let loose and have fun.
From Razer, Samsung, Republic of Gamers, and more, these names have been staples of ESGS. Gaming and tech fans alike excitedly crowd around each booth to see what the latest in gaming has in store.
Other ESGS staples were there, such as game companies like Riot Games and SEGA. Fans of all kinds endured some ridiculously long lines to get a chance to try out upcoming releases. You could even snatch a few photos and get some cool prizes along the way.
The titans of gaming weren’t the only ones present in ESGS 2023. ESGS is a place where all levels of gaming are celebrated which everyone could see at the Indie Fest section. Independent or rookie Pinoy game developers got a chance to demo their latest project, talk to peers and veterans, and show off their hard work to the community.
And of course, it wouldn’t be ESGS without the intense action of esports. Throughout the weekend show matches, tournaments, and contests were playing out around the clock. From League of Legends to Counter-Strike 2 and to Street Fighter 6, there was always an exciting match for you to turn to.
It was three days of pure esports and gaming hype at ESGS. We can’t wait to see what they have in store next year.
