The Falcons seem to be in a nosedive and they need to recover fast.
Times are tough for Team Falcons’ coach Trebor as the org has been hit by one of its most demoralizing weeks in history. As our SIBOL National Team representatives, they lost to Cambodia in the IESF Asia Qualifiers, losing their shot at the IESF World Esports Championship. Now they’ve also gone 0-2 in week two of MPL PH S16 against teams they were favored to beat.
This is a critical moment for coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez. These are the kind of results that can annihilate a team so he and Team Falcons need to bounce back from this quickly.
“Syempre disappointed kami,” said Team Falcons’ coach Trebor. “Mahalaga din sa amin to kasi kailangan namin ng momentum. Kailangan talaga namin mag-reset and work hard.”

The coach mentioned that the close scheduling of MPL and IESF qualifier games did not have a major impact on the team’s performance. It all came down from compounding team errors.
“Pag nakakuha kami ng konting lamang sobrang hype talaga yung team,” said Team Falcon’s coach Trebor. “Kaya nawawala kami ng disiplina kasi akala nila na sobrang lamang na nila. Iba na talaga yung MLBB – kahit lamang ka sa early game, magkamali ka lang sa mid game, doon mababaliktad yung game. Tapos once mawala sa amin yung pressure hindi namin maibalik.”
Thankfully, the Falcons have a week to cool down and refresh themselves. Their IESF run may be over but the season is still young. No doubt they’re hungry for a win but they can’t let that distract them. Hopefully they can get that mental reset that they need and keep their spirit strong for the rest of the season.
