The queens of MLBB have reclaimed their throne as the undisputed champions of the female scene.
Indonesia has once again proven itself to be an unstoppable force in the world of MLBB women’s as Team Vitality has been crowned the MWI 2025 champions! They swept the entire competition, achieving a historic undefeated, perfect tournament run in MLBB women’s esports.
The Philippines, unfortunately, fared worse this year despite a promising start in the group stage. Natus Vincere PH and Team Liquid both advanced out of their groups with convincing 2-0 match records.
However, NAVI PH were knocked out in the quarterfinals by North America’s Gaimin Gladiators. A rather devastating upset as NAVI PH were the defending MWI champions. Team Liquid managed to get farther but had to bow out in fourth place after a 3-0 sweep against Myanmar’s Terror Queens.
Meanwhile, Gaimin Gladiators quickly rose as the unexpected stars of MWI 2025. Despite an early setback against NAVI MY, the newly formed North American squad consistently showed that they were a cut above the competition. Their victory over NAVI PH proved that they were the real deal, and their reaching grand finals to face Team Vitality cemented it.
But nothing could get in the way of Indonesia’s best female team from becoming the MWI 2025 champions. They crushed MENA, Egypt, Turkey, and even the Philippines in dominating sweeps to get to the grand finals.
Gaimin Gladiators, despite their newfound prowess, could not stop Team Vitality’s momentum. They would fall just as easily to Team Vitality in a 4-0 sweep, making Indonesia the queens of MWI once again.
