Europe’s G2 Esports and Taiwan’s PSG Talon crushed their competition, making it a swift opening day for the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).
Both G2 Esports and PSG Talon handled Brazil’s LOUD and Japan’s DetonatioN FocusMe respectively in a quick, 2-0 fashion, forcing them to face each other in the lower bracket for a chance to move on in the League of Legends MSI.
More exciting League of Legends action is still to come as MSI Play-Ins continue on until the Last Chance Qualifiers on May 7, Sunday, to determine which teams will make it to the bracket stage.
Only the two remaining upper bracket teams and the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier will move on to the playoffs and a chance to win the 2023 MSI trophy.
