Outlook is everything if Twisted Minds wants to turn their season around.
Time is running out for Twisted Minds’ MP the King and crew as they’re currently sitting at the bottom of the pack at the end of week five of the MPL PH S15.
Only three weeks remain in the season, and the chances of Twisted Minds making the playoffs are growing dimmer. Yet Michael “MP the King” Endino is staying confident about his team’s chances of making it through.
“Hindi masyadong mahirap yung position namin habang pantay-pantay kaming tatlong teams,” said Twisted Minds’ MP the King. “Malaki pa rin yung chance namin makapasok sa playoffs.”
He’s referring to the three-way battle at the bottom between AP.Bren, Omega Esports, and Twisted Minds. All three have struggled all season while showing signs of brilliance. It’s really a question of which team will break ahead of the pack, and MP the King believes that they’ll need to shore up their mid game decision making in game if they want to be that team.
“Yung early game, gamay na talaga namin. Parang alam na namin paano mag dominate gamit yung mga hero namin. Pero pag mid game na, may oras talaga na sablay yung decision making namin at yung nagkaka-result doon ay nagkakalamang yung kalaban.”
Still, MP the King and Twisted Minds are determined to keep fighting while acknowledging their situation. They may have their matches against the top two teams in the league out of the way, but that doesn’t mean their path is any easier.
“Lahat naman ng mga teams biggest challenge namin. Lalo na wala kaming puntos,” said Twisted Minds’ MP the King. “Bale anong team kalaban namin this week or next week, iniisip namin na sila yung next biggest challenge namin. Kada isang talo sa kahit anong team bumababa yung chances namin makapasok sa playoffs. So yun yung magiging mindset namin.”
