Tiebreakers also mean that the Dota2 train doesn’t stop.

Week one of the ESL DreamLeague season 20 has concluded but the standings aren’t set in stone just yet. After four days of action, a lot of 1-1 ties, and a final set of tiebreakers, we have our eight teams who will move on to week two.

We have the East Europeans Team Secret, 9Pandas, and Betboom all placing at the top of their groups. Both Chinese teams, PSG.LGD and Team Aster, are right behind them along with Talon Esports, the sole Southeast Asian team.

Gaimin Gladiators were the only West European team to make it to week two. Team Secret and Tundra Esports both fell to Evil Geniuses during a three-way tiebreaker game, making Evil Geniuses the only surviving representatives of South America.

North America underwhelms this season with both Shopify Rebellion and TSM failing to qualify for the next round.

Despite this performance, both teams are still at the top of the NA EPT rankings, meaning that they are most likely making it to the Riyadh Masters later in July. Similarly, Tundra Esports has secured its spot in the Group Stage of Riyadh Masters thanks to its overall performance in this year’s DreamLeague.
