2023 Masters Tokyo Week Two: The Top Three Regions Face Off

Which team is strong enough to take down the EMEA powerhouse?

After two weeks of intense Valorant action, the stage is set for the 2023 Masters Tokyo grand finals.

EMEA’s Fnatic, America’s Evil Geniuses, and the Pacific’s Paper Rex; only the best teams from the three major regions remain and they will battle it out in the Makuhari Messe convention center to see who will become the Masters Tokyo champion.

Fnatic has looked absolutely unstoppable throughout their tournament run. Four of the top five KDA players in the entire tournament belong to Fnatic, a scary statistic considering that they’ve played fewer matches due to being a top-seeded team.

Evil Geniuses were the only team to scratch Fnatic but even they fell to them 2-1 in the upper bracket finals. Fnatic also sent Paper Rex to the lower brackets early on and they have clawed their way forward with many of their matches coming down to the wire.

Both Evil Geniuses and Paper Rex are looking to get revenge but only one of them will get that chance. The lower bracket finals will take place first this Saturday. The winner will then head to the grand finals on Sunday to face Fnatic.
