‘Crazy How Life Turns Out’: Kiefer Ravena Talks About Married Life

By RJ Ballecer - July 16, 2025

How has married life been for basketball star Kiefer Ravena and beauty queen Diana Mackey?

June 11, 2025, will forever be a special date for Kiefer Ravena and Diana Mackey.

Clad in matching white ensembles, that date saw Kiefer and Diana exchange vows in an intimate ceremony at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish, which officially kicked off their latest chapter as husband and wife.

A month after tying the knot with Diana, The GAME was able to catch up with Kiefer, who continues to navigate the unfamiliar but welcome reality of being a married man.

“It’s been fun, it’s been fun! It’s crazy how life turns out; next thing you know, I’m married to the love of my life. Just being together makes life so much more fun,” Kiefer said in an exclusive interview during Strong Group Athletics’ recent media availability ahead of the 2025 William Jones Cup.

“I’ve experienced so many things in my life, and this is nothing compared to the joy that I’ve experienced the past month, and years to come,” Kiefer happily reflected. “So I’m excited for it, and I’m up for the challenge and adventures of being a married man, so I’m looking forward to it.”

The couple made their relationship Instagram-official in October last year, when Diana penned a sweet birthday tribute for the Phenom’s 31st birthday. Weeks later, Kiefer would surprise Diana with a marriage proposal along the busy streets of Japan.

Kiefer believes that their dynamic remains the same as a married couple, but similar to basketball, a team effort will be needed as he and Diana tackle challenges that arrive in the long run.

“It’s just a matter of us, na we were able to communicate with one another, we want to be inspirations to one another. Whatever our goals and aspirations will be, 100 percent we support it and we talk about it,” Kiefer explains.

“It’s always about us [as a couple] now, wala nang ‘me, me, me’. It’s always about us, it’s going to be a team, and it’s going to be ‘Team Ravena’ from now on. And I’ll make sure that at the end of the day, we always come out on top.”

As mentioned, Kiefer is currently part of Strong Group’s title repeat core in the Jones Cup, which serves as his first basketball tournament since getting married. Aside from that, however, Kiefer has another reason to feel sentimental about his latest appearance in the Taipei-based tourney.

In around mid-June last year, Kiefer shared that his and Diana’s relationship was just beginning to take shape. Little did he know at the time just how big a difference one year would make.

“[The 2025 Jones Cup] is very special because around this time, we were really on the talking stage, getting to know one another. After a year, exactly at around this time, we’re already married. Like I said, it’s a crazy turnaround,” Kiefer said.

Having been with Diana for over a year now, Kiefer shares that it’s been a “blast” having her as a partner, and he’s just excited to make more new memories with her. Only this time, they will be doing so as husband and wife.

It’s safe to say that the couple is well on track to make precious new memories, with Diana even accompanying Kiefer as part of Jordan Brand’s Board of Greatness in Athens, Greece.

“It’s been a blast, and I can’t wait to be with her for the rest of my life, and to go on a lot of adventures,” Kiefer concluded.
