A year after opening their doors internationally, Honor of Kings is ready to take the next big step.
The competitive year just started for Honor of Kings but they’re already making leaps as HOK Esports revealed their esports roadmap for 2025.
This announcement was made after Nova Esports took the HOK Invitational S3 last Saturday at SM North EDSA.

“Congratulations to Nova Esports on winning the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3. What a historic moment to showcase the excitement and growth of Honor of Kings esports,” said James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center.
“We are also so excited to reveal our plans for the rest of 2025 and beyond, as we continue to build Honor of Kings into a truly global ecosystem.”
The highlight of the announcement is that HOK Esports is including six new Regional Professional Leagues. The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and others, will be joining China’s King Pro League (KPL) and Brazil’s Honor of Kings Championship (CHOKBR) as part of their global esports ecosystem. Each league will have two splits, which will determine which teams will go to HOK’s two pinnacle tournaments.

Returning this July is the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) being held at the Esports World Cup. Then there’s the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) later this November where we could see a new world champion. This year’s KWC represents a big milestone for the global teams as it’ll be their first time facing the Champions of KPL Spring to gauge where they stand among the competition.
Esports Opportunities for All
Outside of the big HOK esports leagues, there are other avenues for people to join in the action. The Honor of Kings Open Series is a truly open tournament series with no rank restrictions. With over 150,000 entrants from around the world, the Open Series is returning for its fourth split and is looking to be bigger than ever.
Together with the Open Series is the introduction of the Honor of Kings Campus Series. This new tournament format will bring opportunities to university students across 92 countries and regions. There’s also a global prize pool of 100,000 USD up for grabs so teams have to bring their best.

This is all just the beginning for global HOK esports and we can expect more announcements in the future. “Whether you’re a casual player, university player or professional player we want to provide opportunities for all,” James Yang concluded.
“Stay tuned, there’s plenty more exciting news on the horizon.”
