A slow start is not a detriment as long as the team is getting better.
It hasn’t been a good start for TNC’s coach E2MAX after going 0-2 in the first week of MPL PH S16 but he and the team are undeterred. TNC Pro Team were able to snap their last-place streak last season, and coach Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic is confident they can prevent that from happening again.
“Before, bagong buo yung team. Madyo marami kang kailangan ayusin,” said TNC’s coach E2MAX. He previously worked with TNC in 2024 as an assistant coach before moving to Bigetron Esports in Indonesia.

Coach E2MAX mentions that Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog and Frederic “Bennyqt” Gonzales are important for this process, as the two were teammates before on Execration back in 2020. Their synergy will be vital in helping TNC progress through the season.
Still, the team went through a big shift with Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera’s departure. When asked if he’s worried about possibly losing the momentum they built last season, the coach had a rather pragmatic answer.
Yun lang iniisip namin, progress lang and how to improve.”
