New releases, custom-made pairs, and signature collections — these were some of the best shoes at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend had it all. From the Steph vs. Sabrina three-point showdown to the East’s huge win, and from Damian Lillard’s memorable half-court shot to the players’ elevated outfits, the All-Stars definitely knew how to stand out on and off the court. But it wasn’t just about making big plays and racking up high scores — it was also about showing off some style while doing it.
This year, every NBA All-Star showed up to Indianapolis ready to put their best foot forward — literally. With custom kicks and fresh releases taking the spotlight, these were some of the best sneakers from the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend.
Jayson Tatum’s new kicks
It was just at last year’s NBA All-Star game when Jayson Tatum first released his signature Jordan shoe, the JT1s. A year later, he came onto the All-Star court once again showing off his new Tatum 2s in different colorways: “Sidewalk Chalk” (pastel purple and gray) and “Momma’s Boy” (white and neon yellow with a fine-leaf print).
Kevin Durant’s timeless classic
Kevin Durant’s signature KD line is arguably one of Nike’s most popular collections. This year, the brand recently released a new “Year of the Dragon” KD4 with a timeless khaki and brown colorway, which KD himself brought onto the All-Star court.
Devin Booker’s signature look
Another signature basketball shoe that transcends the speedy trend cycles in the fashion world is Devin Booker’s Book 1 line. At the NBA All-Star Weekend, he came onto the court wearing the Mirage colorway — an effortlessly chic pair that transitions from court to night out seamlessly.
Damian Lillard’s personal pair
Damian Lillard was the star of the East’s big win, scoring 39 points. Could it be because he brought his sources of motivation with him on the court? Wearing his signature Dame 8 adidas shoes, his pair included the names of his three kids.
Stephen Curry’s iconic colors
Another fresh shoe collection dropped during NBA All-Star Weekend was Stephen Curry’s Under Armour “Curry Jam” collection. Out of the three different colorways he brought to the All-Star court, the “Curry Splash Curry Jam” is arguably the best one, sporting the iconic blue-and-yellow colors that have become almost the Golden State Warriors star’s signature look.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s showstoppers
As GQ’s 2023 Most Stylish NBA Player, we expect nothing less than showstopping from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s looks, and he took his fashion sense onto the 2024 NBA All-Star stage. Wearing a custom pair of knitted Converse All-Stars — a perfect fit — in a vibrant, mismatched colorway that stole the sneakers spotlight.
