Whether he’s in a statement puffer jacket or a pair of leather pants, Thirdy Ravena can style just about anything.
Although he may be better known for wearing an Ateneo Blue Eagle jersey (or a Gilas Pilipinas jersey), ever since Thirdy Ravena started playing in the Japanese B.League, he’s become something of a style icon. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s the fashion culture of Japan, but the San-en NeoPhoenix player loves to share his perfectly curated looks — and we are so here for it.

1. Loving leather
Leather pants are not the easiest bottoms to pull off (and they aren’t always the most comfortable), but they can be incredibly versatile and can level up an outfit in an instant. And one of the best ways to style them is to wear them with a good pair of leather boots, which Thirdy Ravena does perfectly with this outfit.
2. Playing mysterious
Even with an all-black outfit, Thirdy’s entire look is anything but lacking. The key is in all the layers — with his trench coat over a turtleneck, classic black slacks, leather boots, and a bucket hat, the full ensemble is sophisticated yet understated, and could turn heads just as easily as an outfit dripping with prints.
3. Pulling off prints
Speaking of prints, if you look through Thirdy’s Instagram profile, you’ll find that he’s got a pretty good balance between his plains and his prints, and one thing we love about his bolder pieces of clothing — like this unique pair of Michael-Jordan-printed-trousers — is that they all speak to his personality quite well.
4. The best of streetwear
Styling a long pair of jorts is an art form, and it’s one that Thirdy seems to have mastered. It isn’t the easiest to pull off a baggy-on-baggy outfit, but here, the Filipino basketball star looks stylishly ready for anything that Japanese weather might throw at him — a hot day or a slight evening chill.
5. Supporting local
While we do think that Thirdy is a master at streetwear inspired by Japanese style, he can pull off any look, even a more tropical one inspired by his home country. In this outfit, he sports a locally-painted linen top, paired perfectly with his breezy summer trousers and a comfortable pair of green sneakers (that bring out the beautiful details of his top).
